Get to Know Sabrina Redman

How did I get into this career?

I’ve always had a deep interest in understanding what makes people tick—what drives their behaviors and emotions. For 11 years, I taught, and during that time, I became increasingly aware of how many families were struggling and how much they were hurting. I felt a strong calling to make a difference in a more direct, impactful way, which led me to transition into the counseling field.

My own experiences with learning, growing, and healing through counseling also played a significant role in inspiring this career change. The profound transformation I experienced through therapy opened my eyes to the power of healing and connection, and I knew I wanted to be part of that process for others.

What is my favorite thing about counseling?

My favorite part of counseling is witnessing the transformation in people’s lives as they heal and grow. It’s truly an honor to sit with and walk alongside individuals who are hurting—offering support and witnessing their journey toward emotional healing and resilience.

What do I like to do when I'm not at Atlanta Wellness Collective?

When I’m not at the Atlanta Wellness Collective, I enjoy reading, watching movies, and exploring my creative side—recently, I’ve started digital scrapbooking. I also love spending time with friends and family and exploring new places with my husband.

What do I hope for my clients?

I hope my clients experience healing and growth, building deeper connections with themselves and others. I want them to see the fruits of their hard work and know—above all—that they are never alone on their journey.
