  • Bert's Big Adventure, an Atlanta-based nonprofit that works with children with terminal and chronic illnesses, asked Nicole and RJ to lead a session/workshop to kick off our annual staff conference. Our goal was to work with our group of 20 volunteers to set a mindful tone for the remainder of the conference but also leading into our annual journey to Walt Disney World. Honestly, if you are considering it, run-don't-walk! Nicole and RJ helped us bring out our best, and also allowed plenty of time for feedback and sharing. We learned so much. I will enthusiastically bring them back at my next opportunity!! Thank you Atlanta Wellness Collective!

  • We engaged Hannah to run a workshop at our law firm annual retreat. We know that the past year has been challenging, and we anticipate more challenges in the year to come, with incredible growth and increased demand for our services. We've hired more employees, but we had concerns about our people feeling stressed and sacrificing life-work balance. Hannah was exactly what we hoped for. She immediately engaged with the team, encouraged healthy dialogue and sharing, and identified areas where we could each improve. The team was really energized by her presentation and style. It really made the retreat a success.

  • We brought RJ, Dr. Nicole, and several counselors from the Atlanta Wellness Collective team to [our church] to lead two Q&A panels for our parents and our students on mental health. Each therapist was wonderful, and the entire process was very professional. They spoke with such grace, empathy, and wisdom, that I’m confident left a lasting mark on both the students and the parents. Being a teenager (and the parent of a teenager) is unbelievably hard in today's culture, and I believe this panel discussion will continue to grow our church culture to be one that engages in the world of mental health and therapy and how they can relate to the gospel. I am so grateful for the Thaxtons and for the incredible work they are doing! I would not recommend someone more highly to engage in a speaking event for any group.

  • Dr. Nicole & Anna presented to our school's parents and did a fantastic job engaging them and validating their concerns. Their presentation on "Creating Calm: Strategies for Parents to Help Children Overcome Anxiety and Improve Focus" was very thorough and meaningful. Dr. Thaxton was quick to respond and extremely easy to collaborate with to meet our parents' needs. They shared a plethora of valuable resources to parents and did a fantastic job presenting both virtually and in-person simultaneously.

  • I used Atlanta Wellness Collective for a "Wellness Wheel" workshop for my workplace. Dr. Nicole and Hannah were awesome to work with; super responsive, informative, and willing to tailor the workshop content to our exact company needs. The workshop content was very helpful and relevant, I would recommend to any corporate team!
