Get to Know Micah Moore

How did I get into this career?

I have always been fascinated with health and wellness and wanted my career to be in a helping profession. I believe health is holistic - physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual. So when I discovered a counseling program that integrated faith and spirituality with clinical skills, I was sold. My hope for my clients is to experience authentic healing, transformation, and growth in body, mind, and spirit.

What is my favorite thing about counseling?

My favorite thing about counseling is hearing my clients' stories. Every person's story is unique, and I’m grateful for the opportunity to walk through hardships and joys with each of my clients. It takes authenticity and vulnerability for you to share your story, which makes the process moving and powerful.

What do I like to do when I'm not at Atlanta Wellness Collective?

When I am not at Atlanta Wellness Collective, I’m likely spending time with friends and family. I also enjoy drinking coffee on quiet mornings, learning via books and podcasts, cooking healthy meals, and traveling to new places.

What do I hope for my clients?

I hope my clients feel safe enough to show up exactly as they are. I hope my clients feel understood, respected, and supported as we journey toward healing and wholeness together.
