At Atlanta Wellness Collective, we are passionate about helping individuals and families navigate life’s challenges with compassion, clinical excellence, and hope.

That’s why we are so excited to celebrate two of our clinicians, Colin Morris and Ansley Brague, for their recent feature on the “From the Mount” podcast by Mount Paran Christian School.

In this meaningful episode, Colin and Ansley joined host Steve Kyle and co-host Viola Lussier to discuss the growing emotional and mental health needs facing students, teens, parents, and families today. Together, they explored how counseling can offer support long before situations reach a crisis point—helping families create healthier communication, stronger emotional awareness, and safe spaces for difficult conversations.

Throughout the conversation, Colin and Ansley shared practical tools for parents navigating tough topics with their children, discussed warning signs families should pay attention to, and emphasized the importance of reducing shame around seeking help. They also reflected on how their own experiences shaped their calling into the counseling profession and the work they now do supporting children, teens, couples, and families in our community.

One of the things we appreciated most about this episode was the reminder that mental health conversations matter, and that no one has to walk through difficult seasons alone. Whether someone is struggling with anxiety, overwhelm, family conflict, identity questions, or emotional stress, support and healing are possible.

We are incredibly proud of Colin and Ansley for representing both the counseling profession and the heart of our practice so well. Their compassion, wisdom, and commitment to helping others were evident throughout the entire conversation.
