Alex Kelley is deeply passionate about walking alongside children, teens, and adults as they navigate the ups and downs of life. Whether it’s anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, Premenstrual Dysphoric Disorder (PMDD), Body-Focused Repetitive Behaviors (BFRBs), self-esteem struggles, or major life transitions, Alex provides a safe and supportive space where clients can breathe, feel seen, and begin to heal.

Her approach is holistic and client-centered, rooted in the belief that true growth happens when we feel safe enough to be our authentic selves. With warmth, compassion, and a calm presence, Alex helps clients build healthier self-worth, deepen their sense of identity, and feel more empowered in their lives. In sessions, Alex blends evidence-based techniques with creativity, movement, and mind-body practices — especially when it helps a child regulate big emotions, a teen express what feels hard to say, or an adult reconnect with their inner voice. She tailors every step to her client’s needs, always holding space for curiosity, courage, and connection.

Alex is currently receiving a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Richmont Graduate University. She graduated from Kennesaw State University with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology. Outside of her work and studies, Alex enjoys Pilates, yoga, running, reading, playing pickleball, and spending time with friends.

At Atlanta Wellness Collective, our Counseling Interns are closely supervised by an in-house Clinical Supervisor, which means that you benefit from having multiple counselors whose time and expertise are applied to working with you. Alex is currently under the supervision of Nicole Thaxton, PhD, LPC, CPCS. Counseling Interns also offer counseling sessions at a significantly reduced rate.

A note from Alex —

I believe healing begins when we feel safe, seen, and heard. My goal is to create a space where you can show up as your full self and move toward growth at your own pace. As Brené Brown says, “Owning our story and loving ourselves through that process is the bravest thing we’ll ever do.” I’d be honored to walk alongside you as you do just that.
