Alyssa Kiss supports individuals, couples, and families who are ready to better understand themselves and move toward meaningful, lasting change. Many of her clients feel disconnected from their bodies, overwhelmed by chronic stress or health challenges, or unsure how to make sense of what they’ve been carrying. Alyssa helps clients slow down, tune in, and begin to reconnect with themselves in a way that feels grounded, compassionate, and sustainable.

Alyssa has a particular passion for working with individuals navigating chronic pain, chronic illness, disability, and medical trauma. She understands the unique emotional and physical toll these experiences can take and offers a space where clients feel seen, supported, and empowered in their healing process.

She approaches therapy through a holistic and evidence-based lens, recognizing that healing involves the integration of the mind, body, and experience. Alyssa considers both the neuroscience of how we are wired and the relational and social environments that have shaped us. She integrates approaches such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Narrative Therapy to help clients gain clarity, increase flexibility, and begin to rewrite the stories they carry.

Alyssa earned her Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Richmont Graduate University. She also holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the University of Georgia. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor in Georgia.

Outside of the therapy room, Alyssa enjoys spending time outdoors, exploring local coffee shops with friends, and experimenting with new recipes. She is an avid traveler and has had the opportunity to visit Europe, Asia, and Africa.

A note from Alyssa —

I believe therapy can be a powerful space for healing and growth, and I feel honored to walk alongside you in that process. My approach is collaborative—I value your voice, your feedback, and your lived experience. My hope is that you feel genuinely supported as you explore your story, reconnect with yourself, and move toward a life that feels more aligned and whole.
